Who can apply for NDA I 2027?
Unmarried men and women born between 2 July 2008 and 1 July 2011 who have passed or are appearing in Class 12. Air Force and Naval Academy entries need Physics and Mathematics. See the full NDA eligibility checklist.
What happens after the written exam?
Candidates who clear the written exam are called for the SSB interview, followed by a medical examination. A final merit list decides who joins, which is why UPSC measures age on the course start date and not on exam day.
Plan around the dates
- Check your date of birth against the window before the notification opens.
- Keep your Class 10 certificate ready, because the date on it is the one you must use.
- Apply well before the last date. Portals are busiest in the final days.
